Amber-Dawn Gurule, R.N.
Isla Aesthetics is the creation of Master Aesthetic Injector, Amber Gurule.
Isla Aesthetics is the creation of Master Aesthetic Injector, Amber Gurule. Amber is a wife, mother, registered nurse, and entrepreneur that thrives on education and learning new skills. She is a humanitarian and avid traveler and enjoys combining the two whenever possible. Amber has a passion and natural ability and understanding of facial aesthetics. So, when she identified a need for a more specialized, personalized, and modern approach to facial aesthetics, she strategically brought Isla Aesthetics to life.
Amber is a comprehensively trained member of the American Academy of Facial Esthetics. Amber’s approach to facial aesthetics yields natural and transformative results. She has spent years developing and perfecting her skills and has trained with some of the most well-respected providers in the industry.
Her commitment to continuing education assures the highest standards of care and compliance in the area of facial aesthetics. She welcomes the opportunity to combine her medical and aesthetics training to offer her clients the safest, most innovative techniques in facial aesthetics.
Kelsey, RN
Meet our master injector, Kelsey!
Kelsey comes to us from Utah as an RN with over 12 years of experience. Kelsey is a comprehensively trained member of the American Academy of Facial Esthetics and has trained with some of the top names in the industry. Her attention to detail shows in every face she touches here at Isla.
When she is not perfecting faces, she is perfecting her skills at home as a wife, mother to five, and amazing baker whose cakes are as beautiful as her clients!

Ashley, BSN, RN
Ashley is a wife, registered nurse, and certified cat mom. When Ashley is not injecting, she is doing yoga, trying out new foods, or spending time with family and friends. Ashley has been a nurse for five years with a broad range of experience including inpatient, outpatient, travel, and remote settings. Ashley is incredibly passionate about helping others feel good, both internally and externally.
Ashley completed her aesthetics training in Beverly Hills, California through the American Academy of Aesthetics Medicine and Surgery and is dedicated to providing her clients with safe, compassionate care including the most current data and injecting techniques.
Amanda, Practice Manager

Amanda makes our world go round! Here before everyone else, Amanda jokes that Isla is her 5th baby! But when she’s not here, Amanda enjoys all things equestrian, spending time with her husband and four other babies, and traveling to Utah for BYU games.
Her big heart and dedication to the clients and practice mean nothing happens without Amanda’s expertise. Whether it’s finding that perfect appointment time or working with our many rewards programs for the best savings, Amanda’s our gal!

Meet our Patient Services Representative, Erica.
Coming to us from Colorado is Erica! New to Isla, Erica loves everything aesthetics and client interaction which makes her the perfect addition. A recent transplant to NM, Erica enjoys time with her husband and twin girls and finding all the amazing culinary experiences Albuquerque has to offer.

Karen O’Day, NP, Medical Director
Karen is proud to be New Mexico born and raised. Born in Las Cruces, spending her younger years in Albuquerque, and graduating from Farmington High School in 1983. She graduated with her Associates Degree in Nursing from New Mexico State University in 1985, and spent a brief time in New England, where she obtained her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Saint Joseph’s College, Standish, Maine in 1998. After returning to New Mexico, she received her Masters in Nursing as a Nurse Midwife in 2000, and her Post-Masters in Nursing as a Family Nurse Practitioner in 2001, both degrees received from the University of New Mexico. She received her MBA in 2013 from Columbia Southern University, and has recently completed the didactic portion of Medical School from the International University Of The Health Sciences.
